whispers hey how about we try to get a couple of text posts on the dash & our blogs so things aren’t so picture heavy
i mean it’s cool po post images and all but whoa
So, hey, maintaining ooc contact - no one objected to doing it through Skype, so if you cuties go ahead and obtain the program (if you haven’t already) and search for skype name soquedhozii you’ll find yours truly. Do make sure to tell me who you are when you add me, though, and I’ll arrange things c:
"taken characters" now updated & made all pretty! look at the thing!
Yeah so I’m writing way the hell ahead and it appears that there isn’t a stated date for the fall of earth. Does anyone know what the date is in the canon or have a date I can use?
Reblogging here because it might be of general use -
one, please don’t, since everyone else is operating on the same timeline and it’ll be hell to match everything up later on. I get that you, being an active member while the majority are offensively inactive at the moment, have very little to do. It’d be a hell of a lot easier to keep you occupied if we had a Gabby (hint to everyone following this blog)! But despite inactivity, really, try to stay with the rest of us. It’s cool if you want to write introspective posts about the time before or during ME2, or make plans for the future!
two: this is really hard because the canonical timeline is super messed up and doesn’t match what is said in-game. So far, we know that Arrival takes place ~3 months after the end of ME2, and we’re set a couple of weeks after the end of that dlc… which supposedly takes place some time in the very beginning of 2186. The Reapers attack Earth a little over six months later, so say July 2186? (that’s still a broken date though, but let’s run with it because I don’t have the energy to poke around with this shit right now).
Which puts us around the end of January - beginning of February right now!
Also, in response to your tags, I think we can just go with ‘date’ since Terran Coordinated Universal Time seems to work like our current Gregorian calendar, and Galactic Standard isn’t too far off C:
okay so save for joker and a couple of others who have legit excuses for not being around, it’s been WEEKS since some of you posted
you’ve gotta step it up, darlings, because the inactivity is getting ridiculous and the fact that a couple of our oldest members have been the most slow lately is fucking atrocious. Now, I love you dearly and we’re a family here but despite Kasumi being fantastic and reminding you that we have a bi-weekly posting rule lots of you seem to have elected to ignore that. That’s not cool. If you don’t have inspiration for a para post, at least post a fucking picture or send a casual ask to another character so we know you give a shit
because when you don’t post, others eventually forget to check in since nothing’s happening anyway and then we end up like this, with long stretches of inactivity and no one thinks that’s fun!
so. go write things. ok? ok ♥♥
us mods have been talking a bit about ooc communication since chatzy obviously isn’t cutting it for us anymore (and hasn’t for some time). So, how do you feel about Skype? I imagine most of you use it, and it’d be easy for us to make a group and keep in contact that way.
We have discussed using Line as well, if that’s more your cup of tea. If you fancy any of these things or if you have another suggestion, tell us!

David Anderson has announced his retirement and a formal event is held on the Presidium in his honour. Not being fond of an almost exclusively political guest list, he has invited Commander Shepard and her squad - Shepard, who has been told by her old captain that her time on the Normandy is coming to a close and that Earth is waiting for her arrival despite the Reapers’ constant approach. Will the team, including old squadmates from the days when Saren and the geth were at large, get an uneventful evening together among bureaucrats and Alliance brass?
